In February 2012 she was the first poet to read as part of the New Writers Series in Shakespeare & Co. Paris. Her poem Blossoms was chosen as the winning entry in the Emerging Talent category of the 2011 Yeats Poetry Competition and her work was highly commended for the Over the Edge New Writer of The Year Competition 2011. Her flash fiction piece That Night won the RTE Arena Flash Fiction Competition 2012 and Culture Ireland sponsored her to read in Los Angeles in June 2012. She was one of the emerging writers chosen to read at the Cork Spring Poetry Festival 2013 as well as the Poetry Ireland Introductions Series 2013, Listowel Writers' Week 2013, Cuisle International Poetry Festival 2013 and The Bram Stoker Festival 2013. Read an article she wrote for writing.ie about the Paris Literary Scene. She has been interviewed for the University Observer and Headstuff. ​ Recent interviews and reviews have appeared in Irisi Magazine and The Irish Times.  Her short fiction piece Dole features in the New Planet Cabaret Anthology published by New Island in association with RTE Arena and her work has appeared in The Irish Times , The Irish Examiner, Dublin2020 and The Ofi Press. In October 2015 her work appeared in Poethead where she is listed alongside Contemporary Irish Women Poets.  Recent poetry has appeared in The Bohemyth, Banshee Lit and Hennessy New Irish Writing. Her poem Morning Sun featured in Sunday Miscellany and she spoke about the influence of Seamus Heaney and read his poem Postscript for Morning Ireland on the third anniversary of his death.  ​
